CCWILCO KIDS
Our desire is to provide a Christ centered, age-appropriate study for all of the children who attend. Our teachers spend time in the Word and prayer before your child enters the classroom. The curriculum is designed to develop a foundational knowledge of the scriptures, and to grow your child’s relationship with the Lord.
Swordsman Program
"The Word of God is ... sharper than any two-edged sword". Hebrews 4:12
Swordsman’s Club is the Bible Memory Program here at CCWILCO. During this program, your child will learn many portions of scripture that will help shape their faith and ultimately encourage them to surrender their lives to Christ. We have selected key Bible passages that focus on God’s love, salvation, prayer, obedience and praise. It is our hope that you and your child can work together as a family to memorize each portion of Scripture.
The Swordsman Bible Memory Challenge is an exciting program for kids Kindergarten through 6th grade! The program follows a typical school year from September through May.
When parents sign up their kids for the Swordsman Program, they will receive a Swordsman booklet along with a weekly text message containing the verse of the week. Together, we’re equipping the next generation of believers to learn God’s Word and to defend their faith confidently.
We pray that we will be able to build on the foundation you are laying at home. As your child memorizes God’s Word he/she will be able to live out 2 Timothy 2:15, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” It is our earnest desire that you participate with us by encouraging your child to learn the scriptures and that God may richly bless your family as you study together.
Verse of the Week!
Philippians 4:4-8 (NKJV)
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord [is] at hand. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things [are] noble, whatever things [are] just, whatever things [are] pure, whatever things [are] lovely, whatever things [are] of good report, if [there is] any virtue and if [there is] anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things.
This Sunday is Review week!! Please practice Philippians 4:4-8 with your Swordsman! If they can complete the verse, they will earn the Wristband Reward!!
